Does your character have any close ties to existing canon characters? Nope
Why do you think your character would work in this setting?
She accepted the offer because Eli told her there'd be people there who could help her remove her nanites. She was also told she could learn what normalcy was, and how to settle into life outside a lab where she doesn't have to murder people she's been told to.
How do you plan to expand their CR?
Gabby is social, so making friends and talking to people will not be hard at all. She's sarcastic and a bit rude, but that's just her teenage nature. It won't at all be difficult to talk to people and make friends and integrate herself into life in New Dodge.
What will your character do for work?
She'll work at the library at first and then find something more suited to her talents

Her pet wolverine and the clothes on her back (which will in fact consist of body armor)

They want me to be a good person. Laura. Zelda. Bellona. All of my sisters. They want me to rise above what I was made for and live a better, safer, more normal life. No assassinations or training or guns or body armor.
They want me to go to school and make friends.
But my sisters are all I know. And Alchemax and Mooney and Chandler. I know training and my guns.
Zelda and Bellona broke us out of Alchemax because they wanted to spare me the darker parts of life there and I should be appreciative. I am. Believe me, I am. I don't want that life.
But this new one scares me.
If Laura can do it, so can I.
